The Best Free Movies in Austin
Austin’s best free movies are available in more than 30 theaters around town, and this week the city is gearing up to get them on your doorstep.
The Austin Film Society and the Austin Film Festival are teaming up to give away free screenings of the new indie thriller The End of the Beginning.
The film follows a young couple in a small town in the Midwest, as they attempt to raise a family amid a recession.
As the recession drags on, the couple’s relationship begins to crumble.
The End will screen at the Austin Theater on Saturday, September 29 at 10:30am.

The pair’s quest is complicated by the death of their son, the film’s central character.
The cast also includes Josh Brolin, Emily Ratajkowski, and Zachary Levi.
